Workbench

A free toolkit for people who build with AI models — count tokens, plan caching, route models, cut waste.

Workbench is a sub-product of TurnTwo at /workbench: a free toolkit for getting more out of AI models. It counts tokens, plans caching, routes between models, and trims prompt waste. No signup required for the free tools.

What's in it

Around twenty tools that run entirely in the browser, all free: a token counter and cost estimator, a prompt critic, a model router, a cache-aware prompt builder, a pre-send preview, cross-provider cost comparators, a context-window budget planner, document-to-Markdown converters, an article extractor, a few-shot pruner, a log filter, and a personal context library, among others. A handful add an optional step that calls a model — and every one of those runs on the user's own key, never Jay's.

Beyond the website

The toolkit reaches past the browser, too: the same tools plug into other apps as a connector and can be embedded in third-party pages, so a developer can use them where they already work.

The model

Most tools are pure logic and free. The few that call a model use the user's own key, so there's no metered cost to the owner — the rule holds for everyone, members included.
